I saw a lot of people putting up Christmas decorations on my street today. I was asked if I was going to put up lights this year? No. No lights. No tree. Nothing. Not even a stocking. Too much pain.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I found out about your blog from another blog. I just want you to know that complete strangers do care about you. You are a very eloquent writer, also. I feel your pain in your words.
I, too, found your blog through another, and I was directed to pass along this link to the Cancer Survivors' Network. (Perhaps someone else already has.)

I'm praying that those closest to you are somehow able to carry you through to the other side of this unknown.
Carl, thanks for allowing anonymous comments. Candidly Caroline told me about your blog. So sorry for your loss. I set up my own blog originally as a form of therapy when I lost my mother to cancer. Have you checked out the Cancer Survivors Network (of the American Cancer Society)? They have personal webpages of both survivors and their relatives: http://www.acscsn.org/Webpages/
Take care and hope you are able to find some sort of cheer this holiday season.
